Alas, I was sorely disappointed by the poor fit and conformation: the calves were markedly over-wide and made me look like I had balloon legs! Even after they were altered with zippers and sized down somewhat, the top/brim of the boot was still too large, allowing one to put a full hand down the leg (the brim did not fit snuggly to the top of the leg). I use them only for barn work and am embarrassed to have anyone see me. I am going to try ordering again, since I think the boots are fairly well fabricated (though a little "clunkier"/thicker/stiffer leather than with other custom brands). I am going to have three different expert people measure me this time around, and hopefully they will get it right. I'll keep the REVIEWS posted about my results.
