The boots will not do for a woman riding in an A rated show - certainly not in an equitation ring. The soles are extremely thick, wide and clunky. The base of the boot (at the toes) is taller than should be. Added that to the large soles, gives the boots a Herman Munster look. Tallyho has offered to take measurements again and refit the boots. And I'm sure after wearing them, they would the leather would soften to help the appearance. But, even after resizing they would not be usable for my daughter.
